APAI has developed constructed wetlands serving with a trifold objective – (1) wastewater treatment, (2) watershed protection, and (3) wildlife habitat. But, over the last decade, APAI has performed a key role in a unique project; constructed wetlands for water treatment – the first project of its kind in the country. The Wetland Water Reuse Project has received regional and national recognition for its contribution to water treatment and reuse.
