water treatment media
- Removes free, emulsified and dissolved organics / hydrocarbons
- Eliminates all contaminants
- Tolerates solids
- Meets and exceeds discharge requirements
- Efficiently removes contaminants
- Easy to change-out media
- Tolerates surging inflows
- Handles high concentrations ofcontaminates
Performance Notes
- Achieves near zero-hydrocarbon discharge, subject to fluid processing conditions
- The average effluent runs 2-4 ppm on currently installed media.
- Discharge targets of <30 ppm are readily achievable on drilling flow back
How It Works
CrudeSorb media is packaged in canisters with a perforated central core used on bespoke Radial Flow Vessels (RFV). This set-up allows for a quick and easy change- out procedure.
Fluids pass through sock filters to first remove solids. Then fluids are directed through the CrudeSorb canisters. Any free oil droplets float to the surface where they are bled off. The flow continues through the wall of the canisters where free, emulsified, and dissolved hydrocarbons are adsorbed.
