Database Management and Software Development Services
ISSi’s customers require numerous technical and management work products (deliverables) that are tracked, prepared and submitted through information management (IM) and information technology (IT) systems. IT and IM requirements include the management and maintenance of furnished databases and other authorized software, the procurement of software, and the development of proprietary software. ISSi also inputs data, maintains data, generates reports, trains customers on its use. At the conclusion of a contract, all software and data contents, including supporting documentation, is turned over to customer. For example, ISSi maintains a computer database for tracking of hazardous waste pickups and management costs (including labor, materials, transportation, analytical lab costs, disposal site charges, etc.).
ISSi enters data into Government tracking systems as required, and ISSi tracks the training status of all hazardous waste generators and hazardous waste management personnel, and maintain records in accordance with regulations.
ISSi also maintains databases containing extensive environmental sampling and analysis data, integrated with a site wide Geographic Information System (GIS) that enables ISSi to prepare detailed maps and cross sections illustrating the distribution of contaminants and the location of site features and facilities. These databases are required to support the submission of periodic and site specific technical reports. The databases also include analytical data and field notes.
ISSI compiles and prepares the environmental documents needed for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including annual chemical inventory, building specific emergency response plans, air and water quality permitting applications and reports, etc.
