Osso - Decommissioning Services
Part of this decommissioning process involves cleaning and flushing topsides vessels and pipelines, ensuring they are hydrocarbon free prior to being dismantled, usually resulting in large volumes of waste fluids offshore. Traditionally these had to be brought back onshore for disposal either by “skipping and shipping” or offloading to a tanker.
Both methods are commonly used in the industry however this comes at a costly price with increased risk to personnel, higher operational costs and significantly increased environmental impact.
AT OSSO we help to minimise these risks by treating fluid waste streams at source, separating them into their constituent phases, cleaning the water phase achieving “oil-in-waters” consistently below 30 ppm allowing it to be discharged offshore, with solids and valuable hydrocarbons recovered.
Our well-established track record in fluid separation spans more than 18 years, combined with our field proven technologies and specialist engineers means we deliver superior results every time.
