DETERMINATION OF METALS IN BIOLOGICAL TISSUE.

Since 2015 Aquaknowledge is doing analysis of metals in fIsh organs. This has made possible to know aspects related to tissue accumulation of metals in different fIsh development stages, as well as the dependence of the accumulation and toxic effect of metals depending on water quality. It is of the highest importance to understand and know how to relate the water mineral composition with the accumulation of metals in fIsh sensible organs or tissues. This has become with time a more real necessity in recirculation fish farms and also very important in fish early development stages, which is also relevant as a consequence of climate change on natural environments. In artifcial systems and production stages the equilibrium in water of cations species such as Ca, Mg (detectable in fsh tissue) and the presence of metals such as Fe, Cu and Al among others (also detectable in the fsh tissue) is of first importance to know problems within production systems.
