Clean Harbors Directional Drilling services provide trenchless installation of underground pipelines and utilities. Our directional drilling crews can install pipelines and utilities under a variety of areas including roadways, railways, waterways, buildings and environmentally sensitive areas, without harming the environment. Our directional drills are sent to the field with complete support equipment, including mud systems, water trucks and drill pipe. Clean Harbors can provide air drilling (rotary downhole hammers) and mudmotor drilling when drilling in more adverse ground conditions such as sandstone. Our Ditch Witch JT4020 Mach 1 All Terrain drill is an innovative drill that reduces the amount of water normally used in mud motoring, as it can drill through solid rock at 15 gpm versus a normal mud motor process which uses 300 gpm. This decreases the chance of a frac and eliminates the need for a reclaimer.
