Ecological And Environmental Baseline Studies
Floradata executes ecological and environmental baseline studies to all clients (project owners and/or project planners) interested in site analysis before the construction of their projects. This kind of studies, usually voluntary, anticipates the knowledge for environmental problem and improves the planning capability.
These studies also allow the minimization of environmental impacts and can be included in future environmental impact assessments for the site. These studies have ecological concerns (e.g. if site location is on Natura 2000 network or other protected/sensitive areas) or overall environmental concerns (e.g. in the construction of industrial sites it can be worthy to know environmental conditions about hydrogeology, hydrology, geology, soil and territory management/planning).
According to the main concern of the studies these can include several contents: plants cartography, flora cartography, ecological sensitivity cartography, underground water susceptibility to contamination mapping (DRASTIC Index), underground water recharge susceptibility mapping (IFI Index), hydrological network mapping, and other.
Floradata proposes the following services related with ecological and environmental baseline studies:
- Ecological Baseline Studies
- General Environmental Baseline Studies
- Ecological and Environmental Baseline Studies
- Ecological Sensitivity Characterization and Mapping
- Environmental Restraints Characterization and Mapping
