Operators Unlimited currently offers continuing education classes and certificates for operators licensed in the state of South Carolina. These classes, offered 2-3 times yearly, are free of charge and open to anyone seeking continuing education credits.

State of South Carolina Wastewater Operator Environmental Certification Information

Between July 1 and June 30 of each odd numbered year (ie. July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021), every operator and well driller must obtain a total of 12 hours (clock hours) of continuing education or pass the state examination. Operators should keep records of all courses attended. Continuing education can be obtained from schools, workshops, seminars, conferences, online training, and/or in-house training sessions.

As a service to our customer partners, Operators Unlimited offers on-site training through job shadowing and on-site instruction. This training has been developed to not only review wastewater fundamentals but help develop the skill sets of less experienced operators. From solids removal and determining optimum chemical dosing to chemistry needs and of course safety, training can be customized to meet customer needs. Wastewater operator’s license test preparation classes and guides are provided to our customer partners. These tools are designed to assist wastewater operators as they prepare for Class D, C, B, or A exams in both physical/chemical and biological.
