ACS-Umwelttechnik - EGSB Reactor Pilot Plant for Wastewater Treatment Analysis
ACS Umwelttechnik GmbH & Co. KG provides pilot plants equipped with a 350-liter ACS Expanded Granular Sludge Bed (EGSB) reactor, designed for analyzing wastewater under real anaerobic treatment conditions. These pilot plants can be easily and cost-effectively installed anywhere in the world for trial periods. They serve as an essential method to assess various substrates, delivering key metrics such as degradation rates, biogas production, substrate interaction with methane-producing bacteria, pH fluctuations, unforeseen complications, and the efficiency of reactors like UASB, Lipothan, or EGSB. Each pilot project is overseen by experienced staff, ensuring comprehensive understanding and optimal application of the method and design for larger systems. These pilot plants are a critical component in the strategic planning and implementation of complex, high-cost wastewater treatment facilities.
Our pilot plants are equipped with a 350l ACS EGSB reactor and can be easily and inexpensively installed worldwide for a trial period. Since each substrate differs in its composition, the pilot is the best method to analyze the wastewater under real anaerobic treatment conditions. Results are e.g. degradation degree, biogas production quantity, reaction of the substrate with the methane bacteria, changes in pH, unforeseeable problems and efficiency of an UASB, Lipothan or EGSB reactor.
