Viasat - Emergency Management Services
Handling an emergency means carrying out an entire series of actions aimed at containing damages to people or things and bringing the situation back to normal as quickly as possible. Among these, medical/mechanical assistance is of major importance, a rescue service run and coordinated by the Operations Center in case of need due to unforeseen mechanical failure or following an accident, sudden illness or danger.
For all these types of intervention, punctuality, precise location of the site, and rapidity are decisive factors.
The Viasat Operations Center is a guarantee, as it provides customer care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and communication with the on-board device allows the pinpointing of event location.
Following a direct notification on the Client’s part, or a verified situation of need, the Operations Center can:
- send an ambulance or a tow truck to the location
- coordinate law enforcement interventions
- support the Client in the first steps to be carried out in case of accident
