Emergency Services
Emergency Services are the foundation of our business. BELFOR Environmental places special emphasis on serving clients in need of immediate response. We provide experienced teams for the cleanup and stabilization of emergency response situations including asbestos, chemical and petroleum spills, and other hazardous materials.
On-Call 24 Hours Every Day
Emergency calls are answered by our award-winning call center in the U.S. The calls are transferred to senior management within 60 seconds - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We rotate an OSHA-trained team on a seven-day schedule. The team consists of at least one Response Manager, Chemist, Foreman, Equipment Operator and four Response Technicians. The team is always ready to immediately respond, stabilize and cleanup any hazardous material spill.
Pre-Stocked Units
BELFOR Environmental maintains "pre-stocked" trucks and trailers loaded with sufficient equipment and materials for most chemical and petroleum spills - whether land, structural or water-borne. These vehicles are equipped with:

- Instrumentation and Hand Tools
- Splash Suits
- Disposable Coveralls
- Chemical Gloves
- Deluge Showers/Eyewash Stations

- 55-Gallon and 15-Gallon Drums
- Sorbent Materials
- Poly Sheeting and an Array of Cleanup Tools and Materials
In addition to pre-stock response units, BELFOR Environmental maintains excess support resources and backup equipment for larger spills or peak demands.
