Oilfield Industry Focus

• Oilfield Consultants - These tend to have an environmental focus, working on permitting, compliance, air emission testing, soil & water testing, SPCC plans, confined space entry & evacuation. Some consultants focus on drill site supervision, being reporting back to well owner (not actual down the hole drill supervision)
• Lease Preparation & Clean Up - These contractors will clear sites, create roads and lay water lines in preparation for drilling (including building sediment retaining fences), then once a well site is finished these contractors will dismantle the well site and restore the site to its original condition.
• Pipeline- Whether the client is a non-destructive testing company, pipeline inspection, clearing contractor, or consultant, pipeline work is a significant target class of business for Environmental
• Distribution and Holding Sites - Often times in the transportation of oil/gas and other liquid chemicals used in drilling or fracking, distribution or holding sites will be used to store material in tank farms or facilities for future use. Many times these facilities are found near ports or off of railroad spurs. We can look at writing both GL and Site pollution for these operations as well as help to layer Excess limits as needed
• Roustabout/Hotshot Contractors - The Energy industry employs a variety of companies to perform various tasks involved in the day to day operation of drilling work. Although we are not a target for actual drilling contractors, the contractors who serve as runners, general repair and technicians, permitters, and other support work are a preferred class of business
• Salt Water/Fracking Fluid/Dirty Water Transporters - These operators provide the necessary fluids to run a successful operation as well as remove waste fluid to dispose off site. We can offer GL as well as any "in transit" pollution liability requirements to these companies.
• Disposal Sites - Whether solid or liquid waste, Disposal sites play an important role in keeping an Oil/Gas or Energy production operation functioning without delay. Disposal Facilities are preferred class of business of EIS. We can look a various coverages, starting with GL and expanding to Site Pollution and other potential needs
• General or Artisan Contractors - From Painting pipelines, clearing land, Electrical or mechanical work, to herbicide spraying easements and pipelines, many contractors are involved in the Oil/Gas industry. For these contractors, we can provide the Contractors Pollution, Professional Liability and Transportation Pollution Liability that is often times required via contract to obtain the job.
• Manufacturers - From existing chemical manufacturers to new and emerging manufacturers of products that support or will grow the industry for years to come, EIS can write both the GL, Pollution, Products Pollution, and Excess for these operations
