Engineering Geology Studies Services
Raba Kistner Consultants’ (RKCI) objective is to protect people and property against damage from geologic conditions. Determining a solution to geologic issues confronting clients begins with an engineering geology study.Raba Kistner Consultants conducts geology studies during various phases of a project’s fulfillment. Studies support public and private works projects during their planning and environmental impact analysis phases. Evaluation of the parameters critical to groundwater studies may be included. A project’s civil engineering design, value engineering, and construction phases frequently encounter geologic phenomena that benefit from analysis. Monitoring of ground conditions, such as movement, may be necessary during a project’s post-construction and forensic phases.
Our Methodology. The methods used by RKCI in engineering geology studies include geophysical surveys such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys, conductivity and resistivity testing, and magnetometer and micro-gravity surveys, which are advanced techniques used by our professionals to investigate naturally occurring soils and rock. In adverse construction environments, geologic survey information becomes vital for the design of soil improvement methods.
Our fieldwork culminates in an engineering geologic report, providing our clients an organized reference for geologic findings, data analysis, and engineering recommendations.
