Environment Monitoring Units

These units have been specially designed and equipped to provide downwind ambient air quality monitoring for H2S and SO2 emissions. Serving the energy industry, the EMUs have been built to meet or exceed the specifications of applicable government regulatory bodies and/or industry standards.

• All data uploaded via satellite and accessible on the Internet
• Analyzer equipment sourced and positioned to provide the fastest reading-response rate in the industry
• H2S and SO2 analyzers accurate to one part per billion (ppb) and displayed in increments of one ppb
• Calibrator is U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable and standardized to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) criteria
• Data units undergo monthly calibration and maintenance by HSE’s factory-trained technicians
• Wind speed, wind direction, temperature, H2S, SO2 and relative humidity are logged to a data logger and a computer to calculate hourly averages
• Selectable data-logging intervals
• Future total hydrocarbon (THC) detection
