Our expertise in building-related health issues and microbial applications allows Aerobiology to consult with professionals in all areas and aspects of microbiology.

Aerobiology Laboratory Associates, Inc. is a woman owned, privately held environmental testing laboratory with expertise in microbiology and asbestos testing. Our laboratory is fifteen years old and our expertise in the microbial testing aspects of indoor air quality has evolved and help shape the indoor air quality industry. This expertise includes bacterial and fungal testing and both environmental and clinical applications of the investigation. We have a national presence with three fully AIHA (VA - 102977, CO - 192683 and GA - 163063) and NVLAP (VA - 200829 and CO - 200860) accredited laboratories in the Washington DC area, Atlanta, Georgia and Denver, Colorado. These locations allow for excellent coverage of the country in terms of technical laboratory services in addition to being responsive and available for our clients.

Our expertise in residential, commercial, and hospital arenas provide us the background to assist our clients in their testing needs and sampling approach that are unique to the various settings of our clients investigations. We provide in-depth technical training, either on-site or at one of our locations that prepares our clients a defensible approach to their sampling event. Characterizing a building is a multi-disciplinary approach and the microbiology data is one part of the puzzle. Aerobiology helps our clients understand the details and the big picture. We are there to help this happen by our technical support and our customer support.

Investigations are unique and complex due to building structures, mechanical systems, various activities going on in building simultaneously , occupants health and uncontrolled external environmental situations. Aerobiology is experienced in helping clients develop a targeted sampling approach based on field information and dialog with our clients. Our microbiologists are always available to discuss sampling approaches, test methodologies, and data interpretation.

The Aerobiology staff includes degreed and advanced degreed Environmental Microbiologists each having over twenty years of clinical and environmental laboratory analytical experience in microbiology and certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
