Environmental Analyses Services
Our company has its own laboratory where it performs physical and chemical analyses for: drinking and surface water , wastewater, air (emissions and transfer of toxic air pollutants), waste and leachate, workplace pollutants, microclimate, noise.
The following analytical techniques are used:
- Classic: gravimetric and volumetric techniques
- UV-Vis: molecular ultraviolet/visible absorption spectrometry
- GC-FID: gas chromatography flame ionization detector
Automated methodology:
- Automated gas analysis (CO, NOx, SOx, O2)
- Physical gas parameters: temperature, pressure, velocity
- Noise level measurements (Decibel ABC): class 1 integrating sound level meter
Indicators analyzed in our laboratory:
Wastewater disposed of in public sewage systems: temperature, pH, matter in suspension, 5-day BOD (biochemical oxygen demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand) using potassium dichromate method, ammonium (NH4+), total phosphorus, total cyanides, sulfides and hydrogen sulfide, sulfates, organic solvent extractable substances, biodegradable synthetic detergents, total chromium, hexavalent chromium, copper, nickel, zinc, manganese, free residual chlorine
Wastewater disposed of into nature: temperature, pH, matter in suspension, 5-day BOD (biochemical oxygen demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand) using potassium dichromate method, ammonium, nitrates, nitrites, total phosphorus, total cyanides, sulfides and hydrogen sulfide, sulfates, organic solvent extractable substances, biodegradable synthetic detergents, , free residual chlorine, chlorides, residue filtered at 105 degrees centigrade, aluminum, calcium, total chromium, hexavalent chromium, copper, nickel, zinc, manganese

(permanent) alkalinity, turbidity, oxidizable organic substances, sulfides and hydrogen sulfide, sulfates, nitrates, nitrites, cyanides, aluminum, calcium, total chromium, hexavalent chromium, copper, nickel, zinc, manganese, magnesium
Atmospheric emissions and transfer of toxic air pollutants: dusts in suspension, sedimentable dusts, CO, NOx, SOx, ammonia, chlorhydric acid, VOCs (volatile organic compounds - total C), acrolein, aldehydes, sulfuric acid aerosols, oxidands – ozone, benzene
Soil tests: pH, humidity, dry matter, total carbon, carbonates, iron, copper, zinc, lead, TPH (total petroleum hydrocarbons)
Workplace pollutants: dusts, hexavalent chromium, copper, acetone, aromatic hydrocarbons (UV irradiation), aliphatic hydrocarbons (UV irradiation), air acidity (chlorhydric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid), alkaline aerosoles (expressed in NaOH), ammonia, NOx, CO, FeOx, Mn, ozone, esters, alcohols, cyanhydric acid and cyanides, choloroform, formaldehyde, etc.
Noise: outside and inside noise levels
Physical parameters: air temperature, air humidity, barometric pressure, temperature, pressure and velocity of furnace gases.
