- Environmental performance audits
- Environmental, safety and quality management systems audits
- Greenhouse gas and energy audits
- Regulatory compliance audits

- Waste audits
How we work
Our experienced and qualified auditors use customised audit protocols (which can include an optional rating system) to help our clients benchmark their environmental performance.
We’ll work with you to deliver an audit that achieves your objectives. The audit can be conducted against your own criteria such as policies, standards and procedures for internal use, or ISO 14015:2001 Environmental management - Environmental assessment of sites and organizations, or State and Commonwealth regulatory requirements including the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007. Where appropriate, our audit criteria include the Equator Principles, World Bank Environmental Guidelines and International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability. Our audits are conducted in accordance with ISO 19011:2002 Guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing, by internationally certified auditors.
Who we work with
Our auditors have undertaken hundreds of audits for clients in industry and government nationally and internationally. In addition, as a major trainer of auditors, we assist our clients to build their internal audit capacity.
Graham A Brown & Associates also authored the Environmental Audit Guidebook (published by Thomson Reuters), a leading guide in this field.
