Environmental Health Supplement Services

The service covers the full extent of topics required by environmental health professionals and  include:

• Communicable diseases: eg gastro-enteritis outbreaks, swine flu and other infectious disease incidents linked to epidemics
• Emergency planning eg: flooding, industrial accidents with community impact, civil emergency, including terrorist acts
• Housing standards, including: houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), housing renovation, grants, radon
• General registration and licensing, including: public entertainment, pet shops, dog breeding and boarding, riding establishments, theatres, cinemas, petroleum, special treatments (tattooing, body piercing, beauty therapies etc), Sunday trading, public health pest control (including rats, mice, cockroaches, pharaoh ants, flies, pigeons, feral cats and dogs)
