Environmental Planning and Innovative Systems Research Services
To put into practice the requirements of the human society often implies the integration of works into the territory, and therefore the necessary connection between works and environmental background, but also the detection of innovative and/or alternative systems to grant the pursuit of the development lines while safeguarding the environmental quality.
Many may be the actions concurring to the fulfilment of the first goal, and surely outstanding is the planning of green areas accompanying (or sometimes becoming integral part of) infrastructure works. Considering the project technical choices, as well as the requirements emerging from the EIS and the requests of the bureaucratic procedure, VDP pursues a planning process to be based on a "naturalistic" approach that would suggest, from the environmental potential of the studied area and the investigation of the green landscape, such interventions to be consistent with the sites and able to enhance the territory itself. VDP has a series of studies and researches under way, for environmentally friendly solutions in the field of sustainable mobility and for the definition of alternative solutions for resources management; that is the case of alternative energy, with the introduction, e.g., of photovoltaic energy for mitigations/compensations of engineering works.
