Expert Witness Services
We offer expert witness services in the water, wastewater and organic waste sectors. Aqua Enviro can help provide expertise on the circumstances, evidence, facts or experiences to assist in legal cases and investigations. We specialise in dispute resolution and have experience of presenting evidence and cross examination at: public inquiries, adjudications, mediations, civil and criminal courts.
We have represented local authorities, water companies, consultants and contractors in cases involving Environment Agency prosecutions, Professional Indemnity Claims and Civil Proceedings. Whereas the majority of cases are settled without the need for Court Proceedings, Aqua Enviro have acted for clients in court cases ranging from 3 days to 10 weeks duration and have given evidence under cross examination lasting from a few hours up to 2 days.
Over the past fifteen years Aqua Enviro has been involved in claims with a value of more than £160m, including the successful defence of a £28m claim involving a ten week trial at the Royal Court of Justice.
