  • TechLaw is a recognized expert in preparing RCRA permits and evaluating permits for compliance with federal and State regulations. We’ve reviewed more than 1,000 Part B permit applications for land disposal, incineration, and storage and treatment units over the past 25 years, including more than 200 permit applications for land disposal units, 100 Subpart AA/BB/CC and Subpart X (miscellaneous units) and 50 Boiler and Industrial Furnace (BIF) pre-compliance and compliance certifications. We’ve also developed more than 30 RCRA and HSWA permits for EPA and state agencies.
  • TechLaw recommends Green Remediation strategies to our clients to ensure site cleanup actions are environmentally sustainable—and cost-effective. TechLaw has worked on more than 75 sites where remedial designs are focused on in-situ technologies as alternatives to more environmentally unfriendly extraction, treatment and disposal of contaminated materials. We’ve also worked on more than 25 sites where renewable energy sources have been successfully installed and operated.
  • How knowledgeable are we? TechLaw regularly trains the regulators who review permit applications. We’ve prepared and presented more than 40 RCRA permit training courses to Federal and state agencies. These agencies also turn to TechLaw for assistance in determining industrial facility compliance with complex regulations. We’ve performed more than 100 enforcement and/or compliance inspections, and our reports recommend steps that facilities can take to come into compliance in a cost-efficient manner. We’ve written or completed technical reviews of more than 5,000 complex RCRA Corrective Action and CERCLA documents produced for more than 350 industrial sites and federal facilities across the U.S.
