AET has a multitude of experience with the FDEP’s State Funded Preapproval Program for petroleum contamination cleanup. AET has worked on over 2,500 different phases of projects in the FDEP Preapproval Program that include site assessments, remedial action plans, and operation and maintenance projects. Preapproval projects constitute 75% of our active projects. Many of our staff members have worked with preapproval programs their entire careers including key personnel who have been employed as case managers of the FDEP and are now serving AET as branch or project managers. These key personnel understand both sides of the working relationships between FDEP and environmental contractors. This understanding provides our clients with assurance and the confidence that AET’s personnel are working with their best interest in mind – while striving to reach site closure in the shortest timeframe possible. AET as a company has performed a multitude of Performance Based Cleanups (PBC) through lump sum contracts. These contracts have included storage tank removal, excavation of petroleum impacted soils, multi-story demolition projects and more. Key members on our team have also been involved in the evaluation of Pay for Performance (PFP) proposals during their tenure as Case Managers for the FDEP.
