Over the years, BORSIG Membrane Technology has developed many innovative processes, which have now become standard in many areas of petrochemistry and emission protection. In many cases, our standard solutions have been integrated into relevant engineering packages by licensors or are adapted again to the specific project conditions before a licence is granted.
However, it is often also necessary to develop a customised process solution for the customer, in order to take into account the specific requirements of the individual entire process. This depends on understanding and evaluating the interactions of the membrane system with the complete process and assessing these with the customer. Knowledge of the usual customer processes is therefore very important for assessing the feasibility of a project.
Our staffs have very good knowledge of the typical customer processes, whether in the operation of storage terminals and refineries or in the production of polymers on the basis of the broadest range of process licences. The relevant process simulation including customers process part and the additional equipment and interfaces required can therefore be discussed with the customer in order to help with the feasibility study.
