Fiber Characterization Testing Services
Fiber characterization testing is critical for entities installing or managing fiber optic networks and the service includes several types of tests that evaluate the performance of your fiber infrastructure. Whether you are planning to upgrade your network to 10G, 40G, or 100G and beyond, require 3rd party fiber testing for compliance purposes, or can benefit from up-to-date infrastructure performance values, M2`s independent fiber characterization services will benefit your organization. All fiber characterization testing services are performed by Certified Fiber Characterization Engineers (CFCE) with prior experience supporting leading telco & ISP, data center, municipal government, and electric utility entities while also holding other fiber and testing certifications from Corning®, BICSI®, Viavi®, and FOA/CFOT®.
To get started, contact M2 Optics and a CFCE technician will schedule a brief consultation to learn more about your project requirements and recommend services as applicable. Upon completion of the service, you will receive a detailed, professional report containing the test results along with related images, OTDR traces, and measured values.
