Skelly and Loy provides comprehensive environmental engineering services to the food service industry. Services performed include wastewater engineering, waste reporting services, and potable/process water system engineering. In the wastewater arena, we have characterized and evaluated the wastewater from food production areas, performed treatability studies, selected and installed treatment equipment, and evaluated compliance to discharge limits (whether to surface water or the local POTW). In the potable water arena, we have evaluated sources for process and potable water and evaluated treatment and distribution systems to assure adequate water quality and pressure for cleaning and production processes. Skelly and Loy has also performed pollution prevention/energy efficiency (P2E2) evaluations and waste reporting services for this industry.
