Analysis of biogas generated in lagoons without methane capture or pipelines. Problem
As Brazil is a tropical country, the companies generally use anaerobic lagoons without coverings. These lagoons can generate significant amounts of methane, which are often not used, but which could generate energy equivalent to burning tons of firewood used to generate and/or recover electrical energy. Composting piles can generate odorous gases and greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and hydrogen sulfide.
Solution
Using high-tech equipment, and using the float with a compression chamber developed by Genetica, it is possible to carry out the analysis on site and determine the concentration of gases generated in lagoons and in composting beds.
Result
After reading, we issue a technical report within 48 hours to optimize the use of biogas and rapid action, helping to comply with the strictest environmental regulations.
