JSA has been providing geological, environmental, and civil engineering services for over 30 years. We are a local Tallahassee firm that has performed work across the southeast including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and internationally in the Bahamas. We offer a diverse professional team of geologists and engineers who will complete your project on budget and on time.

Our History

Established in 1983 by Jim Stidham, P.E., the firm was formed to provide engineering and hydrological services to local businesses to meet increasing governmental regulations. In 2004, Bill Rollins and Rick Kelly acquired complete ownership of the company upon the retirement of Jim Stidham. The firm has continued to grow and to include a professional engineers, professional geologists, water chemistry specialists, and an environmental drilling division.
