Glass to Glass
Cali Resources provides true glass-to-glass recycling for North America, leveraging exclusive TDM technology and capabilities contained in the former Thomson CRT Television Manufacturing Facility in Mexicali, Mexico. This former Thomson CRT Television Manufacturing Factory has been converted into one of the largest CRT / Monitor / Display Device dismantling and glass-to-glass processing facilities in the world. The enormous factory boasts a completely self-contained water treatment facility, fresh water tanks, electrical supply, 10k/30k clean rooms, cafeteria, and lockers for employees.
While many other recyclers aggregate CRT and monitor display devices or ship them overseas, Cali Resources processes CRT and Monitor glass in a manner that enables the display devices to be reusable downstream. Tracking and Managing Downstream
The majority of the processing occurs on-site, in a monitored environment, and in strict adherence to established ISO Standardized procedures. The fresh water and water treatment facilities are self-contained. The small amount of mud that is the byproduct of the water treatment facility is accumulated and shipped to US Ecology in Nevada, using Samex for transportation.
Responsible Downstream Visibility
Cali Resources is the downstream processing facility for CRT and Monitors for many recyclers. The result of the glass-to-glass refining process is clean cullet which can be reused in the manufacturing process.
