History

Mitsubishi Chemical Europe GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation which belongs to the Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Since 1961 Mitsubishi Chemical Europe GmbH is covering selected activites of its parent company and other group companies such as Mitsubishi Chemical Medience Corporation.

Since June 2013 the Mitsubishi Chemical Performance department of Mitsubishi Chemical Europe GmbH is part of Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers business - MCPP. MCPP is one of the top growing businesses at Mitsubishi Chemical Group, delivering innovative solutions based on consistent chemistry based technology, polymer design, and thermoplastic compounding expertise. Products: Thermoplastic elastomers - Functionnal polyolefins - PVC based solutions - Bio-based and bio-degradable plastics.
