In addition to our standard soil pH sampling service we also offer growers a GPS Soil pH Mapping option. Field boundaries are mapped and sample points logged in the field using Trimble hardware to sub 1 metre accuracy.

Variable rate lime spreading maps are then created so that lime is applied at different rates to variable pH levels. Hardware fitted in the tractor cab determines the areas and rates that are to be applied.
