Specifically, (1) all incidents are preventable and (2) personal health and safety as well as care for the environment are accepted part of ENGlobal’s Core Values.To provide a safe working environment for our employees, ENGlobal’s philosophy is based on well-known cliché, ‘our people are our most important asset.’ Proper planning can prevent adverse impacts and is considered in all that we do while providing our services – not only to employees, but to stakeholders, visitors, the general public, and the local environment. HSE, together with integrated management systems, safety in design and quality control/assurance, forms integral components of our business strategy and day-to-day work procedures.
ENGlobal’s approach to HSE is consultative and one of continuous improvement, where compliance with regulatory requirements serve only as a minimum requirement. In conjunction with our clients existing safety initiatives, ENGlobal’s safety program achieves our objective:

The following principals guide ENGlobal’s actions in all areas of operations:
- Our people are our most important asset.
- All incidents are preventable.
- Management is responsible for the safety, health and wellbeing of all employees and has the responsibility to train employees to work safely, instill the HSE core values, and to develop a “work safe” culture.
- All tasks must be planned and performed with a concern for health, safety and the environment. Pre-execution analyses, the identification of hazards, and hazard mitigation are performed consistently.
- Provide a safe work environment, and proper equipment to perform each task. This is to be accomplished through the review and pre-planning of all activities.
- Train and motivate supervisors to instruct their personnel thoroughly and to be held accountable for all HSE aspects of their work.
- Train and motivate each employee to work safely and to effectively identify and correct hazards.
- Expect safe operation as part of each employee’s job.
- Each employee is empowered to stop work and intervene without fear of repercussion if they believe that their safety or that of their co-workers’ is threatened.
- Consider Safety in all aspects of design, and design all projects with personal safety as the leading driver.
- Working safely makes “good business” sense.
Every employee and supervisor shall hold the prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses equal to quality, cost and production. Each individual is responsible and will be held accountable for identifying, analyzing, eliminating, or controlling all hazards throughout the implementation of an aggressive, proactive HSE Program, from inception through completion.
