Health & Safety Service
We provide advice on health and safety matters and representation in formal proceedings. The team`s work is very often in connection with health and safety policies, risk assessments and the documentation required to demonstrate safe systems of work. The representation that we provide in proceedings can be in criminal proceedings either in the Magistrates Court or the Crown Court, or in Inquests in the case of fatal accidents.
We have three Solicitor Advocates within the team, all of whom cover a wide geographical area, although primarily the South of England and the South West.
In terms of the clients served this firm has strength in depth in the agricultural sector and many cases in which we appear are in connection with farming. However, the skills that we have have been gained in many sectors and recent cases demonstrate the breadth of that expertise with advice and/or representation provided to clients in the house builder industry, care home sector and haulage industry.
