Heating and Air Conditioning

It is a long tradition in product testing and assessment in the heating and air conditioning field. The certification of products in this branch was laid down in laws, because these products are subject to specific safety requirements. It is in the responsibility of the manufacturer to document the conformity with the regulations according to the relevant EU-Directives. The manufacturer tests the products and declares the conformity with the basic requirements of the relevant directive and standards. Performance characteristics of heating and air conditioning products are laid down in standards. DIN CERTCO examins wether the requirements were fulfilled or not, registeres teh data and assesses by a surveillance procedure if once registered characteristics met the requirements continiously. Users - planners, architects and private builder owners - get the possibility to recall these confirmed performance characteristics.
