In addition to our range of flexible services we offer decision support and valuation for new investments, we can analyse existing power plants as well as model new-built projects, and also offer comparison studies (e.g. to compare the financial impact of two different turbine layouts or the effect building a reservoir would have on your revenue potential).
GOING BEYOND HYDROLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
Our decision support analytics go far beyond just a hydrological study and include a detailed assessment of the operational constraints and capabilities of the plant (turbine layout, production constraints, …), the market environment and the plant topology influencing the optimization potential.
PRECISE MODELLING, VALUATION & IDENTIFICATION OF RISKS
Based on a thorough hydrological assessment and estimation of typical inflow patterns as well as a detailed modelling of the physical system we can derive optimal & realistic dispatch strategies for the plant down to the hourly granularity level using our high-performance computational servers. This allows us to show the full financial potential of a hydro power plant, to identify commercial risk factors and to quantify potential revenues with much greater precision than is typical in plant valuations.
