Hygieneering`s Green Building Services include the following to ensure IAQ success:

• IAQ inspection, testing, and building material assessment services are performed twice a year to manage building conditions in the heating and cooling seasons.
• Inspections are conducted to identify and control IAQ risk factors in HVAC systems, Office Areas, Building Functional Spaces and Chemical Storage areas.
• Air quality testing is conducted to ensure indoor air quality meets health and comfort parameters established by OSHA and ASHRAE and local building codes.
• Building Material assessments are conducted prior to renovation work to select green products that are as carbon neutral as possible with no/low chemical off gassing.
• Air Filtration evaluations and recommendations are offered to define the proper filtration media and filter change schedules.

LEED Certification Points are awarded for our IAQ Services. Mold Prevention and Disaster Recovery Services keep your building healthy.

• Visual inspection of HVAC system and building envelope penetrations are conducted for water intrusion potential and mold.
• Infrared camera technology is utilized to identify wet building materials.
• Emergency response/disaster recovery services are provided to begin drying out your building and salvaging materials in the event of a flood or water intrusion event.

Educating and Certifyng Your Green Building Team

• Green Building facility maintenance and engineering staff training is conducted on IAQ management and mold prevention. This training greatly assists to prevent IAQ issues and costly mold remediation by identifying, preventing and managing factors that create mold. We train your Green Building Team.
• A building specific Indoor Air Quality Management and Mold Prevention Program Manual with checklists for building engineers to follow to continuously provide clean healthy indoor air quality will be developed and updated.
