We are committed to the continuous improvement of existing ground survey methods and the development of new technologies as well as finding new applications for existing methods. Quantec’s R&D efforts help to deliver cutting-edge, cost-effective exploration solutions for our geothermal clients. We take pride in our dedication to R&D investment, advancement and implementation. Quantec’s R & D team has recently brought innovation in the following areas:
- Stable-steel plate electrodes developed for environmentally responsible deployment, operational efficiency and electrode stability.
- High impedance electrodes developed and tested for performance in resistive geology such as permafrost and volcanic cover.
- Proprietary dual tuned coil sensors deployed for broadband acquisition.
The R & D team has also developed a state-of-the-art 3-layer passive shielded and active field cancellation calibration room. All of our coils are calibrated on a regular basis to ensure the best possible data acquisition for every project.
