Independent Engineer / Lender’s Engineer Services
As independent engineers, we provide Solar PV Quality Assurance for project financiers and developers, and work to identify risks and assess and certify the quality of construction plans. We provide valuable insight on risk exposure, and will help to identify ways to mitigate these risks. Our comprehensive Commissioning (Cx) includes independent review of design plans for code and standards compliance, with recommendations for design modifications according to industry best practices. We provide permitting assistance and can help work through permitting issues within the framework of existing laws and covenants. We also provide procedural documentation, from installation manuals, to engineering design guidelines and safety procedures. Our Solar PV services include safety and workmanship inspection, string-level IV curve tracing, thermal imaging, insulation resistance testing, ground impedance verification, code compliance inspection, and system functional performance testing.
