ECI maintains a dedicated staff and equipment to perform an array of industrial services including tank cleaning, steam cleaning, hydroblasting, pressure washing, separator cleaning, dewatering and dry vacuum loaders (supersuckers). This group performs tasks in the petroleum production facilities, chemical manufacturing plants, and other types of production facilities. ECI employees have experience with cleaning storage tanks containing materials such as: petroleum oil, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, methylene chloride, styrene, and numerous other hazardous materials. Often, the industrial cleaning services coincide with other ECI offerings to allow clients to utilize turnkey services, thus benefiting the customer with one point of contact and only one invoice. A single point of contact allows for a more efficient environmental and maintenance program.ECI enables its customers to minimize waste at their sites. This is accomplished by utilizing our trained personnel to formulate strategies, evaluate cost effectiveness, ensure safety, and reduce risks. Dewatering, utilized to treat waste at a facility, minimizes a generator`s costs. ECI has the capabilities and the expertise to perform any dewatering project. Our systems are set to remove trace organics, suppress sulfide oxidation, destroy amines, neutralize acids/bases, remove metals, and solidify sludges. ECI also performs liquid/solid separation services utilizing plate and frame filtration, belt and filter presses, and oil / water separation systems. EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Immediate and comprehensive response to a hazardous material emergency can minimize adverse health effects, environmental damage and financial liability. The focal points for providing emergency response services for ECI are the Torrance, California Facility and the Richmond, California Facility. These facilities staff and maintain a 24-hour emergency hotline and dispatching service. This allows ECI to react instantly to all types of emergencies with properly trained personnel and state of the art equipment. All incoming call are documented through ECl`s dispatch center, which is equipped with personnel rosters and paging systems to allow the dispatcher to deploy the individuals with the most experience working with certain spills and the employee that can respond in the shortest period of time..
In depth knowledge regarding hazardous materials and the ability to apply this knowledge during emergencies is essential for the successful management of the release. ECl`s response teams consist of experienced technicians who have endured extensive training,including classroom and demonstration. Field exercises are performed to develop expertise in safety, equipment operation, hazard recognition and evaluation.
