Wastewaters are an inevitable product of industrial processes. We have a number of constructed wetlands treating industrial effluents, including glycol contaminated runoff from airports, fuel contaminated run off from distribution centres, groundwater contaminated by oil refineries, and methanol removal from gas storage facilities. The types of industrial process are many and varied and the nature and concentration of pollutants within these wastewaters are unique to the individual process and site. Industrial wastewaters need a detailed characterisation before a suitable treatment regime can be determined. We are able to set up trial systems to determine the efficacy of wetlands to treat your specific effluent which can be set up at our site in Staffordshire, or we can set up trials on your site.
