• Risk assessment and management of dangerous chemical agents (Legislative Decree 81/2008 Title IX). In particular, we deal with the detection of the presence of fine dusts (PM 10 and PM 2.5), Ozone, Formaldehyde, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC, such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylan), Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons PAH, heavy metals (Pb, Cr, Co, Cr, Zn, Ni) and other chemical pollutants.
• Evaluation of the microclimate in working environments. The microclimate consists of the set of climatic parameters determining the thermal exchanges between the working environment and the people therein. These parameters are paramount to understanding whether the worker is working in a healthy environment or is under thermal stress. This stress can lead to the development of breathing illnesses or muscular-skeletal disorders, rheumatic and nervous diseases.
• Evaluation of the risks of workplace noise exposure and in particular regarding hearing (Legislative Decree 81/2008 Title VIII – Chap. II).
• Evaluation of the risks from exposure to mechanical vibrations (Legislative Decree 81/2008 Title VIII – Chap. III).
• Evaluation and risk management of exposure to biological agents in the workplace, living environments, and health structures (TVC, Legionella, etc.) (Legislative Decree 81/2008 Title X).
• Evaluation of high and low frequency electromagnetic fields (Legislative Decree 81/2008 Title VIII – Chap. IV).
• Risk assessment of the manual handling of heavy loads which can lead to workers being at risk of illnesses from biomechanical overloading, in particular back injury (Legislative Decree 81/2008 Title VI).
