Centek Labs has been doing diacetyl analysis for over 2 years and can monitor employees for exposure concentration. Some of the products that have been tested have been butter flavor oils, margarine, sprays etc. The analysis, conducted found diacetyl vapors were released in all the products when the manufacturer`s recommended amount of margarine, oil or spray for a specific recipe was heated.
