Installation of Zero Leak Seals in Valves for Hydrocarbon service
Zero Leak Valve Seal is braided in a round cross section from 100% pure, unsintered PTFE tapes. This is a dual layer product. To reach near perfect impermeability for both fluids and gases, Zero Leak Valve Seal gets additionally wrapped with a layer of pure PTFE tapes. It has excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures.
Application Areas:
For Sealing of Leakage from the glands of Valve in hydrocarbon service. The Zero Leak Valve Seal is compatible with Crude Oil, Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene, Naptha, LPG, Furnace Oil, and other Hydrocarbons and Water.
Special Features of Zero Leak Valve Seal
- Due to suppleness of the pure PTFE material it can be installed in spiral form, this reduces installation time.
- When compressed the spiral becomes a solid, impervious and extremely durable PTFE sleeve.
- The low coefficient of friction facilitates easy valve stem movement
