The TRL Incident Investigation and Reconstruction Group is made up of widely respected scientists, engineers and technicians, who specialise in the forensic investigation of incidents involving road traffic, the environment and road user behaviour. In addition, our Video Investigations Team provide forensic image analysis of incidents and vehicles captured via systems such as CCTV. Our wide variety of public and private clients include police forces, public bodies, road authorities, insurers, private companies, claimants and defendants in both Civil and Criminal proceedings.

The team has also been involved in supporting the police investigations into the Ipswich murders, the 21 July bombings in London and the Malcolm Webster murder trial.
