ISO 9004 Advanced Management
9004 Advanced Management is a new tool for improving management, made available by AENOR to organisations that wish to move ahead towards excellence in terms of quality management.This certification is awarded based on the UNE 66174:2003 standard entitled "Guide for evaluating the quality management system based on the UNE-EN ISO 9004:2000 standard. Tools and plans for improvement."
This product, which is fundamentally based on self-evaluation and subsequent verification by a team of experts, aims to offer companies a way to carry out a gradual transition from traditional management systems based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 to a global excellence business model.
This self-evaluation process enables the company to position itself with respect to the degree of improvement applicable in managing the business, through the analysis and evaluation of the different sections of the UNE 66174 standards, and enables management to establish priorities with regard to the aspects at which it must direct its efforts to improve products and services and the relations between customers and other interested parties.
To offer a response to companies that are interested in implementing this advanced management system, AENOR has developed a computer programme to speed up the application of standards and help to process all the necessary data.
