M.W. Watermark maintains an in-house laboratory for determining dewaterability of liquid/solid slurries. Testing confirms equipment sizing, sets the parameters of filtration: • Cake thickness • Feed pressure Filter cloth selection • Cycle time It also ascertains whether chemical conditioning is required. Our testing lab is a valuable resource as we review applications - and we've seen it all: metal finishing waste, specialty chemicals, ethanol, various mining applications, and food and beverage products like honey and wine. In addition to ensuring a better informed equipment purchase, the lab is also available to help enhance performance of an existing filter press.
