Laboratory Testing
TRL has a range of test facilities that are extensively used to provide investigations and structural assessment of a diverse range of products and construction materials. The independent assessment we provide supports the development of new products by private sector clients, from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to major manufacturers.
As well as determining the discrete properties of materials, we have specialist facilities for testing pavements and other structures to examine their overall performance under appropriate conditions.
With dedicated materials testing facilities, we can offer a wide range of testing on construction materials in-house, particularly asphalt and concrete. These include British (European) standards and other nationally or internationally recognised tests, through to bespoke testing regimes to suit particular applications. TRL can also offer an additional range of tests through a well-established reciprocal arrangement with Surrey County Council`s Merrow laboratory and through our links with other reputable laboratories across the UK and Europe.
