Lead Paint Remediation Services
Often, the primary source of lead exposure in older buildings is lead-based paint. In professional, educational and industrial settings, the employees, visitors and students may become at risk for lead exposure. This exposure can occur if lead becomes airborne during construction, renovation and routine maintenance work. Those who work in industries where lead products or coatings are present either as part of the manufacturing process, or as an ingredient, also tend to be at higher risk.BEI understands that in many of the buildings where these lead-based paint conditions exist, the removal and restoration process is very delicate. The site may be important from a historical perspective, or maintaining the original architecture may be of importance for the building’s integrity and aesthetics, or the nature of the business or service being conducted in the building may be highly trafficked by the public, or may be governmental.
BEI will visit your site, review the recommended removal process and provide a detailed and thorough cost analysis of your project. BEI considers each client’s situation and needs before recommending a method of removal. Two removal processes are lead hazard reduction and lead abatement, some projects requiring a combination of both. BEI holds multiple licenses and security clearances in many states and municipalities, from north to south Eastern United States, which enables us to provide complete, certified lead-based paint removal services.
Our experienced project managers work with clients on-site to develop effective abatement plans in compliance with local, state and federal agencies. BEI’s project staff is extremely proficient when working with governing agencies and regulatory bodies such as:
