Legionella Control Services

The typical programme we are asked to undertake on behalf of our clients would include the following:-

• Full Legionella risk assessment on all of the water systems – including ‘domestic’ hot & cold water services and process systems
• Supply of a detailed risk assessment log book, starting with the risk assessment document itself, any relevant recommended system amendments and a full scheme for thermal control of the water systems (in line with accepted standards required by CQC, Health and Safety Executive and other regulatory authorities)
• Provision of remedial plumbing and TMV services for water safety
• Monthly temperature monitoring of sentinel and random outlets and any other tasks designated in the agreed scheme and reporting program
• Cleaning and disinfection of both hot and cold water services (both open & closed) and the supply of the relevant certification.
• Taking and analysis of water tank internal swabs etc.
• Supply of emergency 24 hours response, and recommendations for remedial measures in the event of any system failures
• Risk assessment audits & updates.
• Staff training sessions covering responsibilities and record keeping requirements for the control of Legionella within their site
• Testing & sampling of tank fed cold drinking water supplies And in some cases where relevant
• Servicing and treatment of spa baths, hydrotherapy and swimming pools or any specific system covered by the guidelines.
