Line Locating

Clean Harbors Line Location & Layout Services provide the pre-planning, project management, and GPS surveying and mapping to locate and lay out your lines in advance of crews. Productivity is maximized because laying out lines in front of the line cutters means they don’t have to look back for location. Not looking behind for line location greatly improves worker safety. We use handheld GPS units in conjunction with a compass to lay out lines ahead of line cutting crews. We can maintain a line within a 20-meter corridor. Location and layout accuracy means there"s no damage to the merchantable timber along receiver lines, as they achieve a 0.0 meter line width on the Timber Damage Assessment (TDA).
