Report an Incoming Repair or Calibration
LUDECA, INC. is an authorized repair and service center for Pruftechnik AG products in the United States. Please note that any attempt to service the components by unauthorized personnel will render all warranty coverage void.
Our service facility includes an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory, as well as a NUPIC (Nuclear Procurement Issues Committee), approved calibration laboratory with NIST certified calibration equipment and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protected repair department.
Should a service of your Pruftechnik instrument ever become necessary, we offer you a quick turnaround time, and if necessary a loaner system or component will be available to you (for shaft systems only).
CALIBRATION
LUDECA, INC. is an authorized calibration checking facility for Pruftechnik AG products in the United States. Our calibration laboratory is ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited. We offer calibration inspections traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
Our calibration service includes:
- Cleaning and inspection of the system, including parts to make sure all are in proper working condition.
- Complete calibration with NIST Traceability
- Check system operation, including any preventative repair if needed to make sure the system works as a whole.
- Update system firmware to the current version (if applicable).
The calibration accuracy of Pruftechnik systems like OPTALIGN® and ROTALIGN® (except INCLINEO®) should be checked every two years as indicated by the colored label (shown at top) located on the back of the laser housing (alignment tools) or instrument (vibration tools) or by the warning message that appears on the instrument’s display 4 weeks before the deadline (vibration tools). The calibration accuracy of our INCLINEO® should be checked every 12 months as indicated by the colored label (shown at top) located on the back of the inclinometer housing.
